Bidisha’s fourth book Beyond the Wall: Writing a Path Through Palestine documented her trip through the West Bank. In this talk she will let us in on what she saw in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nablus, Nazareth, Hebron and Ramallah and describes the issues that all journalists must contend with when writing about conflict or war situations.
Bidisha is a writer, critic and TV and radio broadcaster. She signed her first novel deal, with HarperCollins, at 16. She writes for the Guardian, the Financial Times, New Statesman, New Humanist and various publications in the Middle East.
