Exploring the relevance that medieval writers such as Julian of Norwich and medieval texts such as The Cloud of Unknowing have for the modern church. What can they teach us about the nature of God and the living of a Christian life?
Annie Sutherland completed her doctorate in the English medieval mystics in 2000. Since then she has been teaching in Oxford and doing research into the Psalms in the Middle Ages. She takes up a position as lecturer in Old and Middle English at Somerville College Oxford in September 2002.
