In contrast to the actual existing Church, which generally posits God as a guarantee of meaning, Peter will explore the idea of God as that which breaks meaning apart and the Christ collective as the place that helps enables us to live without a compass or a map.
Peter Rollins is a writer, lecturer, storyteller and public speaker. He is also the founder of the faith group ikon. He is a research associate with the Irish School of Ecumenics and the author of How (Not) to Speak of God. His most recent work is The Idolatry of God.
