If the Methodist Church was a stick of rock, running through its middle you’d find the words: inclusive, evangelistic, justice-seeking. Yes, we’re here for the hymns and the John Wesley wisdom (he was one of our founders), but we’re also here to be bold in our justice seeking, radical in our inclusion, and authentic in our sharing of God’s love. All of this (the hymns too) is at the heart of what it means to be Methodist, at both our roots and shoots.
We’re a Church that holds together justice, evangelism, and inclusion as a response to the good news of God’s love in Jesus Christ. This is our calling.
We’re so proud to partner with Greenbelt as we host the Hope and Anchor: a dry bar with free-flowing, real, gritty and sacred conversations that are bigger than small talk.
