The Trussell Trust supports a network of more than 1,200 food bank centres, who give emergency food and support to people in crisis across the UK, where one in seven people face hunger.
In the last year food banks gave 3 million three-day emergency food supplies to people in crisis. The Trussell Trust also engage decision-makers with the realities of poverty and are campaigning to ensure that people living on Universal Credit can afford the essentials.
In 2023 the Trussell Trust began hosting the Living Room, a space at Greenbelt Festival to hear directly from people facing poverty and to reflect together on how we can live more justly.
