Most of Greenbelt’s site lies within this parish, and it has two of the most beautiful churches in the Kettering deanery.
St Mary Magdalene’s in Geddington has been a place of worship since Saxon times and the building retains remarkable and unique aspects of its long history, most notably supporting the hunting estate to the Plantagenet kings.
Today the church serves a large congregation from every part of the local community. It actively supports the village through its outreach and vibrant mix of traditional and modern services.
St Mary the Virgin’s (Weekley) is an idyllic church housing many tombs and burial plots of the ancestors to the Buccleuch family.
Its unique setting and architecture have been featured in a number of period dramas including Pride and Prejudice.
