Shadin Nassar is a Palestinian International Law and Diplomacy practitioner, dedicated to leveraging legal frameworks to advocate for marginalized communities and promote sustainable development through cross-cultural and intersectional approaches. Holding a BA in International Law and Human Rights, along with an MA in International Law and Diplomacy, Shadin has made significant contributions to various NGOs and academic institutions in Palestine and beyond. Her work has been instrumental in driving intersectional advocacy campaigns that amplify the Palestinian voice and prioritize the empowerment of women and youth across multiple spheres. Shadin’s deep connection to her family farm, the Tent of Nations, in Palestine, where she grew up, instilled in her the patience and resilience that drive her work today. This very land, now facing the threat of confiscation by the Israeli occupation, remains the cornerstone of her advocacy efforts. At the forefront of her initiatives is Written Voices, an artistic advocacy project that seeks to empower Palestinian youth to articulate their struggles through creative writing and artistic self-expression, enabling them to reclaim authorship of their own stories and identities.
