Sekrit is a fully qualified Sound Therapist having studied with the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST), passing with distinction. Playing instruments such as Himalayan Singing Bowls, Gongs and Drums in therapeutic ways to help improve people’s health and/or wellbeing.
He brings his experience as a Sound Therapist, as well as a touring musician and recording artist, to curate sounds of a deep sense of peace, helping to calm the mind and body from any stress and to experience release in your life.
Sekrit’s music productions have received radio play on stations such as Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM, Capital Xtra and Worldwide FM. He has also composed soundtracks for short films, dance performance One%’ performed at Breakin Convention 2020 Sadlers Wells and theatre which have included the trailer for 2017 BAFTA nominated film ‘Mouth Of Hell’ and play ‘Custody’ directed by BAFTA award winner Gbemisola Ikumelo which received 5 star reviews and a UK tour. Sekrit’s music has also featured on Channel 4’s ‘How To Paint The Mona Lisa’, BBC News 24, Amazon Prime’s ‘The Grand Tour’ and hit show ‘Top Gear’.
As a session musician he has played live on the BBC, performed and/or recorded for the likes of Brit Award nominee Beth Rowley (BBC 6 Album of The Day), Vanessa Freeman, Diane Charlemagne, DJ Kengo, Kate Westall, Sheldon Bangera, the All Souls Orchestra and regular collaborator with Wilderthorn. He has played at some of the U.Ks finest venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Jazz Cafe, Brixton Academy and the Union Chapel as well as across Europe and Asia.
