Robyn Travis is author of Prisoner to the Streets – an honest and hard-hitting memoir about being caught up in the ‘London Postcode Wars’ – and Mama Can’t Raise No Man – a debut novel exploring different definitions of masculinity, being on the margins of society, broken family units and the need for role models.
Both books had a huge impact on publication and garnered much interest across TV, radio and press reaching a wide readership.
Robyn has been a guest speaker at a number of high profile Literature Festivals including Cheltenham, WOMAD, Bare Lit and Stoke Newington as well as being a keynote speaker at The London Book Fair and Publisher Association’s inclusivity conference.
