Ockham’s Razor is a critically acclaimed UK aerial theatre company who specialise in creating physical theatre on original pieces of aerial equipment.
Bringing their show The Mill to Greenbelt, experience the sweat, grind and grit of physical work in a wheel of wood and steel which is powered by the five performers and suspended in the air.
In The Mill a seemingly small decision or action can gather momentum and impetus beyond your control, snowballing until you find yourself running like mad to power the treadmill whilst someone else is riding it like a ferris wheel.
Directed by Toby Sedgwick (Olivier Award for Best Theatre Choreographer for the National Theatre production War Horse).
Dramaturg Rufus Norris (Evening Standard Award for best Director).
The name Ockham’s Razor comes from the medieval philosopher William of Ockham and reflects the way the company work: given a choice between two theories, go for the simpler one thereby keeping the work cogent, artful and easily grasped.
