Meeting since the beginning of 2013, Messy Cafe is an all new gathering for people who want to pray together and to explore the Bible in more depth.
We began as a response to people from Messy Church who wanted to ‘go a bit deeper’ and we now meet once a month for breakfast, to read the Bible together (lectio style – ooh, get us) and to pray for each other and for the world. We think we model ourselves on the Old Testament tradition of discussing scripture whilst children play ‘in the midst’. But with added bacon…
