With just a few basic sewing skills we can extend the life of our clothes, or pick up a charity shop outfit and make it our own.
Drop in to the Make and Create tent and learn to attach a button, sew a hem, mend pockets, darn a jumper, and take part in the sewing challenge projects. Materials will be provided and volunteers will be on hand to share their sewing skills.
The volunteers running ‘Making it last’ have become involved in mending and crafts from a variety of routes – repairer for Traid charity shops, knitting groups, and just discovering how to fix clothes when it’s needed.
