Magnus Macfarlane-Barrow

Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow is on the 2015 TIME100 list of the world’s most influential people (TIME Magazine). He is the founder and CEO of Mary’s Meals and has received numerous awards for his charitable work, including CNN’s ‘Top Ten Heroes’, Scotland Entrepreneur of the Year, and an OBE in the New Year’s Honours list. He is a former salmon farmer, born and raised in Argyll, Scotland, where he lives with his wife and children. He still works from his father’s tin shed, which he borrowed as a store for charitable donations in the early 90s.
