Lotte Mullan’s new single ‘I Hope It Breaks Your Heart’ track immediately trended on Soundcloud, hitting over 40k streams. Recorded out in Nashville with Band of Horses, the song is a scathing breakup anthem delivered with a gritty blend of alt-country and British indie rock ‘Anglicana’.
The British music press raved about Lotte Mullan’s self released debut album, christening her Indie-Folk sound ‘Anglicana’. Lotte spent two years on the road touring solo before packing her bags and heading to Nashville to make an album with Band of Horses.
In the meantime a blog she was writing about her adventures as a musician was snapped up for a book and film deal by Elton John’s Rocket Pictures, LoveFilm used her version of ‘It Must Be Love’ in their ad campaign and Ridley Scott Productions used four of Lotte’s songs to soundtrack their latest short film ‘Kismet Diner’ which has already had over 2 million hits on Youtube.
