Jude Simpson writes and performs joyful comedy, combining quirky observational humour with poetry, wordplay and song. The result is a warm, witty and uplifting act, with wide appeal and a strong feel-good factor. Jude performs across the UK, but especially in East Anglia. She has gigged at the Edinburgh Festival, Glastonbury, Greenbelt, and many literature festivals, cabaret and comedy clubs. She has won national poetry slams at Cheltenham, Edinburgh, Swindon and London. Her work has been featured on Radio, and occasionally TV. She is a regular on Konnect Radio, and is Poet in Residence at her local branch of Homestart, the family support charity. Jude also co-authors memoirs and biographies, and writes chidren’s musicals.
