Lemon & Jinja is already the UK’s largest independent refill store after only 5 years of trading. Boasting over 3,000 products, we offer a comprehensive range of refillable foods and liquids, beautiful sustainable homeware, not forgetting the irresistible sweets and snacks! We aim to be your ‘one-stop eco shop’.

Our popular plant-based café serves speciality coffee, lunches and pastries, reducing waste, one disposable cup at a time, through our mug library and love of reusable coffee cups (come try our pop up at Greenbelt!).
Many people think that being sustainable is just unrealistic and overwhelming, but we focus on being perfectly imperfect. We love to show that being sustainable is not only accessible, but achievable! It’s all about the small changes we make everyday.

Community and sustainability are at the core of everything we do (just ask our amazing team!). We host events such as local litter picks, second-hand clothes swaps, natural cleaning workshops, and educational talks at schools.

With a background in business, eco-tourism and global development, Jess grew up in Uganda and loves to share her story and vision. Jess set up Lemon and Jinja as a way to link people and planet together and is always looking for ways to grow and improve.
