I am a multimedia artist who enjoys working on independent and group projects. I like to explore aspects of everyday life and theology through art, with the aim of enabling creative thinking and talking.
Our bodies have been part of the focus for my recent work. I have been exploring how to represent and celebrate in a playful yet respectful way the ambiguities between frailty and resilience that we experience in our lives. Using textiles and stitch enables me to simultaneously celebrate our distinctive individuality and the interconnectedness of community life.
Humour, colour and materials are important aspects of my practice as I attempt to convey a sense of joy, wonder and hope.
