The Homegrown Collective are a group of musicians exploring a new way of being artists together through living and working in a multi-medium creative community.
Pip’s kooky folk ballads, with their freshness and buoyant charm, stir our hearts to stand firm in the face of global issues. Samantha’s rich, soulful voice full of beauty, power and rawness, cuts straight to the core. And Jacob Spencer, a multi-instrumentalist talent, in addition to supporting both Pip and Sam musically, also sings his own set of stunningly penned, experimental folk songs with a voice that is so smooth and velvety it sounds like he just walked out of a 1940’s barbershop.
The trio, as well as supporting one-another, are lucky enough to play with a host of talented musicians, who together make up the Homegrown Collective.
They have three new releases between them this year and have a summer programme of gigs ending at their own, ‘Homegrown Festival’ on the 19th of September at Wick Court near Bristol, celebrating the ‘homegrown’ food, art and music produced by the community based there.
