Helen Seymour is a Spoken-Word-Artist-Human-Performance-Person who likes to break the boundaries between Spoken Word and Theatre.
She likes pretending to be a bear and is also a bit obsessed with death but in quite a charming way. If she wasn’t a spoken-word-artist-human-performance person she thinks she’d be a pharmacist from the past.
Helen’s first show To Helen Back toured with house around the UK and was nominated for New Writing South’s Best New Play award at Brighton Fringe 2017. Her second show Helen Highwater has (so far) been to Canterbury, Peterborough, Brighton and the Southbank Centre in London. She is currently working on her first poetry collection with mentoring from Caroline Bird. She recently bought an electric toothbrush on Instagram.
