Hazel Southam is an international journalist, who’s reported from 34 countries around the world.
She writes for a wide range of newspapers and magazines including The Times, Telegraph, Guardian and Observer. She has recently published her first book, My Year With A Horse. This story – available in the Greenbelt bookshop – tells how a horse called Duke got Hazel through one of the hardest years of her life: a year beset by illness, loss and grief. This was a bit of a surprise as Hazel had always been scared of horses. But she found peace, perspective and even a closer sense of God, with Duke out in the Hampshire countryside.
