Gavin Mart is a pioneering musician and artist from North Wales.
Scooping the UK Events Award for Positive Impact in 2016 his work in the margins have unearthed treasures deep within the communities he has engaged with. Bringing a blend of the arts into the world of Corporate Social Responsibility Gavin melds his faith with the needs of the socio-economic world around him, creating and joining in with stories from fascinating communities around the Globe. Much of his day job is spent encouraging businesses to express a positive impact to their local communities; in and through the arts.
As a founding trustee of link-international.org he engages with developing cultures throughout Central Africa, applying the innovative skills learnt in tribal communities Gavin is obsessed with culture, context and spirituality.
During his 20 years on the road as a performing musician [Drums – Singer Songwriter] Gavin maps out a diverse career and is honoured to have worked with Dame Shirley Bassey, Motorhead, Corinne Bailey Rae, and DARE as well as being a runner up in the UK songwriting competition with ‘GOLDEN’.
As an arts curator Gavin has given himself to setting up a wide range of projects including, Leftbank Leeds, Engedi Arts, ADVENTurous and most recently 3RD SPACE, Llandudno, an award winning social enterprise in The Great Orme Brewery Llandudno.
