The Fellowship of Reconciliation is a faith-based charity promoting active nonviolence as the way to transform unjust systems and address the causes of conflict.
FoR is currently campaigning against the renewal of Britain’s nuclear weapons, proliferation of armed drones and high military spending. It runs a grant for international grassroots peacemakers wanting to rebuild community in areas affected by war.
FoR is a membership organisation with branches all over the world. It has taken a permanent stance against war and its preparation since it was founded, in 1914, in response to the horrors of war in Europe.
We’re ecumenical and welcome all who seek nonviolent means to systemic change.
