Dale Berning Sawa is a writer, journalist and artist based in London. She is a regular contributor to the Guardian and the Art Newspaper, with bylines in the Quietus, the Times, the Economist, Frieze and Elephant magazine. She has exhibited in the UK, Germany, Japan, Israel, France and the US. She has composed multiple soundtracks, most consistently for the Japanese artist Hiraki Sawa and has released two albums on Bo’weavil and Flau records. She is writing her first novel.
