Broderick Greer first came to Greenbelt in 2016 and it was love at first sight.
Since that time, he has moved across the States to take up his current post as Canon Precentor at St John’s Cathedral in Denver, Colorado. There, his official role – overseeing the cathedral’s daily and weekly liturgies, coordinating ministry to people in their 20s and 30s, preaching, and leading worship – continues to mesh with his broader, deeper, long-standing concerns for history, black and queer theology, and racial justice (#BLM). And in connection with these concerns, his writing has appeared in the Guardian, Teen Vogue, NBC News, On Being, and the Washington Post.
