Dr Andrew Tate is a senior lecturer in English and American literature at Lancaster University. His most recent book is The New Atheist Novel, co-authored with Arthur Bradley, and he co-edited Literature and the Bible: a Reader (2013). He regularly contributes to Third Way magazine and is currently writing studies of 21st-century apocalyptic fiction and post-millenial re-tellings of the gospel.
