Just killing terrorists won’t stop terrorism. An international war against terrorism that doesn’t also target global poverty is doomed to failure. From Bono to John Paul 2 to Gordon Brown, the issue of our time is alleviating international poverty through debt relief, trade justice and aid. Military solutions simply aren’t enough.
