Rosie Miles

Rosie Miles has contributed to many Wild Goose anthologies and is also co-editor (with Nicola Slee) of Doing December Differently: An Alternative Christmas Handbook. Rosie taught English Literature as an academic for over twenty years, and alongside academic writing felt a strong pull to develop her own poetry practice. Her poems have appeared in many UK poetry magazines and she published CUTS with HappenStance Press in 2015. Rosie now offers poetry courses and retreats (both online and in person) and has twice facilitated a multi-day event on The Spirituality of Walking. In recent years she has also retrained as a professional gardener and runs a small gardening business in south Birmingham, where she lives.
