Ciaron O’Reilly is a long time Catholic Worker, co-founding communities in Brisbane, Liverpool, London and Dublin.
He has been involved in three Ploughshares actions serving 13 months in US prisons for disabling a B52 bomber on the eve of the 1991 Gulf War and being acquitted in Ireland of $2.5 million damage to a US Navy warplane on the eve of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Ciaron has been an associate of Ploughshare movement founders Fr Daniel Berrigan and Philip Berrigan for 30 years.
