Beth Goudie is a singer-songwriter born in the Rhondda Valleys in South Wales and raised for a part of her childhood in Tanzania, East Africa.
Growing up in a home filled with music, Beth found her inspirations at a young age in songwriters such as Leonard Cohen, Rufus Wainwright and Joni Mitchell. Gaining her own passion for telling stories through song, she began writing at a young age and made her debut performance at 16 as Beth Bullock.
She spent the next few years recording and playing across the UK before taking a year off to work on new material in 2014. In January 2015, Beth released her debut EP ‘The Boat’ under her new (married) name, Beth Goudie, ahead of her album later this year.
