Set in a failing old fashioned boozer, our PUB landlord and landlady have a big decision to make. Go hipster or go hungry.
PUB is a farcical look at how gentrification hits its communities hard, and the choice we have between clinging on to the past or chasing the zeitgeist. Featuring acrobatics, juggling, equilibristics and the odd pint of Guinness.
Molly Orange Street Theatre is an emerging company that plays with physical performance and design to tell stories on the street. It was formed in 2009 by Lucy Frost in order to create work in a role where the boundaries between artist, maker and producer are blurred, combining her passion for visual art and circus. Street theatre provides the political drive but also the creative arena for devising performances that are adaptable to an infinite number of locations and audiences and brings the arts to the masses.
