Rabbi Debbie Young-Somers is Community Educator for Reform Judaism.
She is an environmental and interfaith activist, winning a 21 for 21 interfaith award in 2018. She teaches interfaith engagement to trainee Rabbis and Christian clergy. She has been published writing on Jewish Christian relations, and creative rituals (particularly ritual immersion) among other things. She is currently studying the art of storytelling, and is a regular in print media and radio, including Pause for Thought.
She is married to Gary, a recently ordained Orthodox Rabbi and they are attempting to raise a 6 and a 4 year old in a confusing world.
