Go straight to the CrowdfunderAs we celebrate our fiftieth anniversary this year, we are aiming to crowdfund the production costs of 50: a festival lexicon, a beautiful, large-format full-colour hardcover book, with 256 pages full of striking design, photography and graphics, all inspired by the festival’s past, present and future. Fifty different words for fifty years. Fifty different ways to see, hear and feel the festival.

Who better to tell the story of our festival than us, its community? That’s why everyone we’ve asked to contribute to the book has some kind of connection to this festival we all make together.
We’re so excited to be working with a panoply of talent on this project, with contributors like Rowan Williams, Ann Pettifor, John Bell, Abdul-Rehman Malik, Pádraig Ó Tuama, Chine McDonald, Barbara Brown Taylor, Bidisha Mamata, Sister Teresa Forcades, Kate Bottley, and Brian McLaren.

The entry reward level is £30 (plus postage) for a copy of the book. Just like our radical new flat-pricing of tickets this year, we want to make this crowdfunder as inclusive as possible.
As a crowdfunder you will get your copy of the book delivered before the festival itself (unless you specifically want to pick it up at Boughton in August). Your name will also be printed in the book as a thank you to everyone who made it happen. The rest of it – any other rewards you choose – is entirely up to you!
We’ve put together some lovely stuff for those of you who might want a little more, too. Check out the reward levels below.

Thank you for enabling us to create FIFTY: A Festival Lexicon. In return for your generous support you will – quite literally – be a part of the book, with your name included in our wonderful list of Crowdfunders. In order to print and deliver this beautiful book (and any other items you ordered) to you we need to check some information with you.
Please fill out this form as soon as possible.
Please double-check each answer below before submitting. If you think you’ve made a mistake and / or that we have something wrong, please feel free to reach out to georgia@greenbelt.org.uk before 2nd July.
Please note that after this date we will not be able to change any names in the book, and will use the given one in the crowdfunder.
POSTAGE
As stated in our Crowdfunder you can either opt to receive your items by post – we will be sending them w/c 14th August – or to collect your copy at the festival itself. To receive by post will cost £10 (details of this fee are explained in the form).
You will receive an email on completion of your form with a link to pay for the postage. Please make payment promptly (by 3rd July latest) otherwise we will not be able to post your items and they will be available for collection onsite.
PICKUP AT FESTIVAL
If you choose to collect your book at the festival itself, we will follow up with you in due course about where and when you can collect it on site.
Again – huge thanks for your support in helping us make this happen. We’re thrilled with the results and we’re sure you will be too.
Many thanks, and hopefully see you in the field,
Georgia
