The Job of Paradise
This year, Greenbelt’s annual service of worship and reflection takes a different form. And we’re all ears.

The 45-minute podcast-style service takes its title from a wonderful poem by the poet Roger Robinson. It is shaped and narrated by poet, theologian, and conflict mediator Pádraig Ó Tuama.
The idea is that we can all unite and share in it – wherever we are. Ideally, we’d like you, if you can, to stop and share in it at 11am on Sunday 29th August 2021. On your own or in a group. Or perhaps persuade your church to play it out to those of you gathered? (Yes, we know that might be a longshot.)

The service lasts about 45 minutes. It’s designed to be listened to in one go. Either on your own or with others. We’d like the first time you listen to it to be at 11am on Sunday 29th August. But after that you can, of course, listen to it again and again! Please download and share it as widely as you’d like.

This year, your generous giving will be split 50/50 once again. 50% will go towards the vital work our partners Christian Aid and Trussell Trust do to challenge and aid globally and domestically.
And 50% will stay with Greenbelt as we work to keep the festival viable and sustainable in these most challenging of times. So we can be back in the fields at Boughton House for a fully-fledged festival in 2022 and beyond.
Please click here to make your donation for this year’s collection or scan the QR code below. Last year – despite not being together – you gave an incredible £33K. This year, let’s see if we can top that generosity. Thank you!
