Steve Lawson is a musician, academic and writer who has spent the last 20 years exploring via his own music career how the role of music in the world can evolve from one where a handful of voices are amplified globally to one where music is made locally, specifically and in community by millions of people without the aspiration for superstardom ruining the experience of smallness.
